What it checks—and what it does not
What problem does Shipping Contract Guard solve?
It helps you notice when supported WooCommerce shipping behavior no longer matches results you previously reviewed and saved. For example, it checks the cart totals immediately below, at, and above a free-shipping threshold.
Does it place test orders?
No. It calculates synthetic shipping packages through WooCommerce without submitting checkout or creating an order, customer, product, coupon, zone, or shipping method.
Which shipping methods are supported?
The current version supports WooCommerce core Flat Rate, Free Shipping, and Local Pickup while testing an enabled core Free Shipping amount threshold. Unsupported extensions are not guessed.
What does “could not verify” mean?
The method, scenario, or observation was unsupported or incomplete. It is deliberately different from “everything works.”
Do I need an account?
No. Setup, saved expectations, manual checks, local history, and export work without an account or external request.
What information do I enter?
You select a simple shippable product and use invented destination values. The product is used only in an isolated calculation and is not changed. Never enter a customer address.
What does Operator add?
Operator adds scheduled checks, missed-run supervision, alerts, offsite history, and bounded evidence about configuration changes that may have affected a result. It costs €29 per month for one store, plus applicable tax.
What leaves my site with Operator?
Only minimized signed evidence such as opaque IDs, hashes, timestamps, outcome states, supported method classes, bounded amounts, error codes, and relevant configuration-change facts. Products, raw destinations, orders, customers, payment details, and carrier credentials are excluded.
Does paying immediately activate the service?
No browser redirect grants access. Stripe payment and an active subscription must arrive through verified billing events before the exact site pairs automatically.
How do I cancel?
Use the Stripe customer portal linked from the pricing page. Automatic paid work stops when the verified subscription state becomes inactive; free local checks remain available.
Is this proof that checkout is perfect?
No. It verifies a finite supported shipping-calculation surface. Themes, custom hooks, unsupported extensions, live carriers, caches, and browser presentation can remain outside coverage.
